Registration is free of charge. You can register yourself and also other colleagues (up to 10 people).

After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

Yolanda Moyo RN, MSc, is the Head of Government Affairs Africa at Illumina, based in Johannesburg South Africa. Her role is to manage and maintain government and stakeholder relations to enable the adoption of genomics technology in Africa. Previous to joining Illumina, Yolanda worked at IAVI as a Senior Director for Policy and Advocacy. At IAVI she led the strategic design and implementation of advocacy activities across IAVI’s overall Africa portfolio, as well as key aspects of policy advocacy, ranging from policy analysis to advocating for evidence informed policy change. Additionally, she led research preparedness activities in Africa to ensure gender balance, recruitment and retention in clinical research; and meaningful engagement with communities most affected by infectious diseases. Yolanda has over 18 years’ experience in private and public sectors, academia, product development, clinical trials, managing regulatory compliance of health research including medical devices, gained in Europe and Africa. She has a master’s degree in Clinical Drug Development from Queen Mary University of London, UK and is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Yolanda is passionate about access to life saving health technologies by those who need them the most, she has spent most of her career advocating for equitable access to health and health technologies in Africa, inclusion of patients and civil society in policy making processes.
