Registration is free of charge. You can register yourself and also other colleagues (up to 10 people).

After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

Phoebe has a background in Geospatial Engineering and Climate Change and Adaptation. She works for the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) based in Nairobi, as the Point of Contact for the AfriGEO secretariat, a regional Group on Earth Observations (GEO) initiative. Regional GEO’s support regional coordination of GEO and AfriGEO activities within Africa, supports functions of the GEO secretariat and ensures continuous engagement of the AfriGEO community on priority issues aligned to GEO’s objectives in achieving the Sustainable development Goals (SDGs), Paris Agreement implementation, Reducing Disasters and Risk and developing sustainable cities using Earth Observation. Whilst ensuring adherence to GEO’s principles of open data access, and use of Earth Observation (EO) by Governments in decision making processes. Further, she leads the land use land cover mapping activities for the SERVIR Eastern and Southern Africa project which supports 20 RCMRD member countries within Africa. Her roles in this include support for capacity building needs, tools and data development that support sustainable land use and management. She is a gender champion and has supported several gender related activities for the institution including awareness creation and strategy development. She is a member of the GEO Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) subgroup She is also an advisory board member for the EO Africa Research and Development Facility that is supporting research, and innovation in areas of water management, agriculture and food security.
