Nathalie Faure works at RECOFTC, a non-profit organisation working on sustainable development and forest communities rights in the Asia-Pacific region. Nathalie has been providing legal and technical advice on forest governance, communities' rights and policy influencing in Asia and Africa for over 15 yeas, working with various NGOs and UN institutions. She supports CSOs and policy-makers to engage in successful decision-making processes on forests, developing tools and training and facilitating dialogues between stakeholders. Her current research work focuses on the pathways to recognise communities' customary tenure in the Mekong region. Her areas of interest include multi-stakeholder approaches, community forestry, land and forest tenure, and indigenous peoples' rights.
