Madeline Haas is a systems engineer at BAE Systems, focused on implementing systems modeling strategies. She also serves as a member of the STAR-TIDES advisory board and works as an editor on INCOSE’s Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge, which is an accessible resource of systems engineering knowledge for educators, professionals, and students.

Madeline is currently pursuing a master’s degree in operations research at George Mason University. As an undergraduate student at GMU, she worked with the Center for Resilient and Sustainable Communities to develop an AI algorithm to optimize groundwater access in arid communities. Her interests include model-based systems engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
