Edelman Japan K.K.
President & Representative Director
Meghan is an experienced communications strategist known for ethical behavior, strategic thinking, creativity, commitment to quality and dynamic leadership. In her more than a decade and a half with Edelman, her work has spanned corporate reputation, brand, consumer and employee experience and her clients have represented some of the most well-known names across a range of industries, including finance, consumer, automotive, manufacturing and healthcare.
Meghan started her Edelman career in Japan in 2006 as a member of the healthcare team and returns to the Tokyo office after spending the last decade in the Washington D.C. office. There, she acted as a global client relationship manager for the firm’s leading global clients, built a thriving employee experience practice servicing a roster of global clients and played a role on strategic internal initiatives.

Prior to Edelman, she worked in Tokyo for the integrated marketing agency Ad-Comm Group on brands such as Ralph Lauren, Moet Chandon, Zurich Insurance and Corning and was an editor at Time Life Japan.

She is most passionate about helping organizations transform to become their “best selves” and deliver the maximum possible benefit to all their stakeholders in a mutually beneficial way. Her most meaningful work is with global, complex and decentralized organizations, helping them build integrated communications strategies, leading diverse teams that represent the best of Edelman capabilities and leveraging new technologies and creative approaches to break through the clutter.
In addition to enjoying time with her husband, three college-aged children and two dogs, she is an avid outdoors woman, beginner motorcycle rider and master gardener in training. She is delighted to be embarking on her second decade of living in Japan, one of her favorite places on planet earth.
