Manuel Perez, “Manny”, is President of the Space Renaissance USA Chapter, and Vice President of the Space Renaissance International, Chair of the Civilian Space Protocol initiative, and holds an honorary Doctoral degree for his community development work and research into improving the human condition. He also holds a Masters in Public Administration and is a published author.
A promoter of individual and community achievement and empowerment, Manuel Perez leverages his technical knowledge with his managerial, non profit and corporate background to find solutions in the new global and local environments and systems that work for all stakeholders. Manuel Perez, a certified professional master coach, understands corporate and non-profit projects requiring multiple stakeholder’s support and participation, including his present day work with entrepreneurs and leaders in NYC and abroad. He believes in creating communities that can stabilize the chaos that usually accompanies disruptive technologies of the XXI Century, and the rapid social and technological change that we are undergoing.

Often called a "Renaissance Man" who is well versed in many areas, he regularly “makes complex ideas accessible”and transforms traditional projects into innovative and "impossible" achievements. He understands that in an ecosystem, in our communities,  interconnections are natural means for facilitating innovation, change and success.
