Marcos Núñez, MD, FICS, M.Ed is the Dean of Health Sciences at Universidad Iberoamericana, Dominican Republic is a general and hand surgeon. He serves as Caribbean Representative for the Pan American Federations of Associations of Medical Schools (PAFAMS). Among his many administrative and leadership positions are International Member American Society of Surgery of the Hand, Fellow International College of Surgeons, and Fellow American Burn Association. He is the past president of the Dominican College of Surgeons, Dominican Society Surgery of Hand, Dominican Association of Medical College, and Dominican Academy of Medicine. He has been recognized for his teaching and leadership skills domestically and internationally. Dr. Núñez is a regular speaker on three continents, and has also written a chapter on Hand Trauma in the Panamerican Society of Trauma Book.
