Registration is free of charge. You can register yourself and also other colleagues (up to 10 people).

After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

Dr. Haga is a long-term member of the Economic Development Administration (EDA), an agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he serves as the Senior Engagement Administrator. In this capacity, he plays a vital role in promoting and facilitating economic growth and development. Additionally, Dr. Haga assumes the leadership position for the Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) in the United States. ACE is the premier economic development, innovation, and entrepreneurial network of the Americas and is coordinated with the Organization of American States and U.S. State Department. Dr. Haga's expertise extends to various White House and interagency task forces focusing on critical national priorities. He actively contributes to the advancement of our nation's cybersecurity and semiconductor supply chain, broadband infrastructure, empowerment of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI), as well as the growth and support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Before his current role, Dr. Haga held the position of Acting Senior Advisor to the Acting Assistant Secretary and Acting Executive Secretary for the Skills for Business Coordinating Council during President Obama's administration. Previously, as a Senior Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist, Dr. Haga showcased his exceptional coordination abilities by overseeing the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs and the Office of the Executive Secretariat. Dr. Haga's extensive professional background includes valuable experience at the U.S. Department of Labor, where he provided expert guidance to senior leadership on advanced manufacturing, economic development, workforce initiatives, competency modeling, and outreach projects spanning healthcare, alternative energy, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Furthermore, he has held esteemed positions within the Florida Community College System, the Florida Office of the Attorney General, the Florida Department of Education, the United States Senate, and the United States House of Representatives.

In recognition of his exemplary service, Dr. Haga has been honored with numerous prestigious awards, including two U.S. Department of Commerce Silver Medals, five U.S. Department of Commerce Bronze Medals, two U.S. Department of Commerce Certificates of Appreciation, two Certificates of Appreciation for Deployment, two Secretary of Labor Awards of Excellence, and a U.S. Senate Certificate of Service.

Dr. Haga holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in Work and Human Resources, an M.P.A. in Public Administration and Policy from the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy at Florida State University, and a double major B.A. in Political Science and Greek and Roman Studies from Rhodes College. He has also studied at Harvard University and is also fluent in Latin.
