Welcome to the Science Summit at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA77)

Please Register by clicking HERE

Registration is free of charge. You can register yourself and also other colleagues (up to 10 people).

After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

Allison McComiskey

Brookhaven National Laboratory
Chair of the Environmental and Climate Sciences Department
Dr. McComiskey is Department Chair of Environmental and Climate Sciences at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Her research interests are in the radiative forcing of atmospheric constituents, specifically aerosols and clouds, that change in response to human actions and the long-term impact of these changes on the global energy budget. She is an observationalist recognizing the critical role of models that operate at all scales in understanding climate processes, predicting future climate scenarios, guiding climate solutions, and informing related policy decisions. Thus, much of her work is undertaken with an eye toward improving and expanding observations for better climate process understanding and integrating measurements and models.

Dr. McComiskey currently serves as a Commissioner of the International Radiation Commission, is a member of the AMS Radiation Committee, is the Chair of the Broadband Radiation Working Group of the Baseline Surface Radiation Network, and a co-Chair of the Gordon Research Conference on Climate and Radiation. She has a long-standing relationship with the Department of Energy Atmospheric System Research program and Atmospheric Radiation Measurement facility. She has served on several of their science and infrastructure advisory committees, currently acting as co-Chair of the Aerosol Measurement Science Group.
