After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

Professor Adenike Omotunde Boyo, Professor of Physics and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of Lagos State University, Lagos Nigeria.
Professor Adenike Omotunde Boyo is Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU) since October 2021. She is a founding member of African Network for Solar Energy (ANSOLE), member of International Solar Energy Society, Solar Energy Society of Nigeria, Nigeria Institute of Physics, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and former President of the LASU Chapter of OWSD. She is currently the Ex Officio of Material Science and Technology Society of Nigeria (MSN)
.Professor Boyo had her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics specializing in Geophysics from University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1986. She had her Master of Science in Applied Physics (Solar Energy) from University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1988. She obtained her PhD at the
University of Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria in 2004.
She joined Lagos State University as an Assistant Lecturer in 1990 and rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a professor of physics in 2011, thus becoming the first female Professor at the Department of Physics of LASU. She was seconded to Lagos State Ministry of Science and Technology as a Director of Science and Technology in Policy, Progammes and Promotion from 2005 to 2007 although the two years was spent as sabbatical and leave of absence, Her schedule was to promote the electrification of rural communities by using solar energy, promoting and implementing Science and Technology policies. She was a consultant to the same Ministry from 2007 to 2010 on solar electrification of villages.
Professor Adenike Boyo has won several awards and grants. Among them are TETFUND National Research grants in 2019 and award of a research grant in Gendered Design in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).
Professor Boyo has authored and co-authored over 70 scientific papers, including more than 60 peer-reviewed articles.
Prof. (Mrs) Adenike Boyo is married. She was ordained as Assistant pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 2011 and is currently the Parish Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Amen Assembly parish) in Lagos, Lagos state, Nigeria from 2013 to Date.
