Registration is free of charge. You can register yourself and also other colleagues (up to 10 people).

After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

M. L. Pereira, PhD in Biology, is Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Department of Medical Sciences, University of Aveiro, Portugal. With 41 years of experience in teaching and research in Cytology and Histology she was the President of the Portuguese Society of Electron Microscopy and Cell Biology (2004), Director of the Master on Molecular and Cell Biology at University of Aveiro (2008-2018), invited Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, London (2021), and member of the Pathology Council, where she collaborates in the postgraduate training. Research has been focused on in vitro and in vivo interactions of male reproductive tissues with metal compounds, nanoparticles, and drugs, combining histological, ultrastructural, and cell biology approaches; obesogens and natural compounds to alleviate obesity-associated reproductive effects are in current studies. She is a member of the World Union for Herbal Drug Discovery on the potential of medicinal plants against infectious diseases. She co-authored several book chapters and papers in international journals and has been OCM of several International Conferences on Microscopy, Pharmacology & Toxicology, COVID-19 pandemic, and editorial board member of some journals. Recently, she was a recipient of the outstanding Dr. Matthew A. Eichler Memorial Award Research Fellow, APCORE-Philippines in 2022, and two other prizes, in co-authorship, on Projects for Pedagogical Innovation at the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
