Kadidja, PhD in Applied Linguistics, is an assistant professor of EFL at Teachers' Training School, Bamako, Mali. She is a visiting scholar at Michigan State University (MSU), and she is mentored by Pr. Paula Winke, director of Second Language Studies Doctoral Program at MSU. She teaches EFL to francophone African learners at tertiary level. She is passionate and motivated to implement performance-based assessment in her teaching context. She also examines the relationship between performance assessment and second language learners' motivation.
