Registration is free of charge. You can register yourself and also other colleagues (up to 10 people).

After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

Heather Young is a seasoned and purpose-driven communications professional. With 15+ years of experience in the field, her expertise spans corporate communications, public relations (PR), media relations, community relations, crisis communications, social impact, social responsibilities, and internal engagement. Currently, Heather is the vice president of communications and public relations at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. Prior to OIST, Heather fostered innovation by advancing communications for academic-industry collaborations across Canada and with international partners at Mitacs. Before that, she held leadership positions at a Canadian health and safety agency and at the Special Olympics. Heather holds a BA from McGill University, a Master of Publishing degree from Simon Fraser University, and an MBA from Royal Roads University.
