National and cross-national strategies for building collaborative ecosystems
-- Eric Smith, Director, Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, US EDA

Healthy ecosystems that enable technology-centric entrepreneurs accelerate the ability of innovations to impact not only economic prosperity but also improve individual and environmental well-being. And building collaborations among related but globally dispersed ecosystems increases and distributes those impacts by enabling regions to learn from each other and leverage complementary strengths. In this session, we will discuss national and cross-national strategies for building these collaborative ecosystems and how they support sustainable development.
