Registration is free of charge. You can register yourself and also other colleagues (up to 10 people).

After you have registered, you will receive two emails: one from Eventbrite with your ticket, and 15 min later, one from SCHED inviting you to create your username and password (these will be your  SCHED login details to access the conference each time).

Once you have your SCHED login details, you can select the session(s) you would like to attend and be able to see the ZOOM link to join your selected sessions.

Josef Glössl is Professor emeritus of Applied Genetics and Cell Biology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), Austria, where he initiated research on Plant Molecular Pharming (PMP), including glyco-engineering of plants, aiming at optimizing plant lines for the production of biologics by PMP for therapeutic use in human. At present, he is part of a founding team for developing an Austrian-based drug development company using PMP as an innovative and versatile manufacturing platform for biologics.
Josef served as Vice President for Research at BOKU from 2010 to 2018. Previously, he was member of the Board and Chair of the Assembly of Delegates of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and founding Vice President and President of the Austrian Association of Molecular Life Sciences and Biotechnology (ÖGMBT). He was Deputy Chair of the University Council of the Medical University of Innsbruck and is currently member of the Council for Science and Research of the Austrian federal state of Carinthia. In recent years he was Board member of ICA (Association for European Life Sciences Universities), Chair of the ICA Bioeconomy Committee and Board member of the European Plant Science Organisation (EPSO).
